  • What sort of guarantee or warranty is offered on your harnesses?

    When we say The Last Dog Harness You'll Ever Have To Buy, we're saying that once you use the Joyride Harness, you'll never want for a different harness again. Our best interests are for the customer and their fur baby, so with our guarantee, your purchase is covered for 365 days from the time of delivery in the case that your harness is defective or breaks within the 365 days and is unusable.

  • Are these harnesses safe?

    This harness is the safest harness you can buy for your dog for 4 reasons: 1. Emergency safety handle: get your dog out of sticky situations quickly and safely 2. Wraparound reflective: stitching and straps are all reflective for additional safety on night walks 3.Chest strap goes across chest, avoiding pressure on sensitive neck areas 4.The 2.0 harness has an ID tag pocket for your dog's information in case they get lost. No other harness has all of these safety features in one harness!

  • How do I put on the Joyride Harness?

    Proper fit is very important. Please refer to the guide here on how to get started. It includes a video under the Joyride Harness Instructions section.

  • How do we describe the technology behind the harness about spinning instead of pulling?

    It's a training harness, so the side rings are essentially training rings. When you walk walk your dog and as soon as their dog starts pulling, they will get spun around and won't be able to pull.

  • Are the harnesses tested and safe for travelling purposes in a car?

    They are fine for travel but they are not safety restraints if not utilized with a seatbelt and carseat.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes! We are happy to announce that we now offer Klarna and Shop Pay! Be sure to select your chosen method at checkout.

  • Can the harness be left on the pet all day?

    Technically yes, and while the harness is comfortable, we don't recommend it as dogs need their regular, natural comfort.

  • Are you the same as Pug Life Harness?

    Excellent question! A few years ago we changed the company name from Pug Life Harness to Joyride Harness. So yes, we are the same company. And don’t worry, the harness is exactly the same as before. The name is only thing that has changed.

  • I e-mailed support but haven’t heard back.

    Please allow 1 business day to receive a response as we handle a high volume of e-mails. We also do have live chat 24/7. Support and social media teams operate Monday thru Friday.   • My dog doesn’t pull… is this still a good harness?

    Of course! Our harness isn’t just made to alleviate or eliminate pulling, but it’s a solution for dog owners that have a hard time getting other harnesses on their dog. It’s easy on and easy off! That, and it’s super comfortable for dogs to wear. Collars and other tight harnesses risk damage to the body like the trachea. If your dog isn’t a puller, we recommend using the main D-ring on the back-center of the harness.

  • Can I buy this harness at any retail store?

    Yes, be sure to check in with your local mom and pop pet store. We’re currently carried in retail stores in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and more. Ask your local retailer to reach out to us if interested in carrying Joyride Harness.

  • Do you offer quantity discounts?

    You bet your sweet pug we do! We offer quantity discounts on orders of 6 or more harnesses. Ordering 6 or more? Reach out to us to get a custom coupon code.

  • Don’t harnesses make dogs pull MORE?

    That depends on the make of the harness. Our harnesses on the other hand were designed to be a training tool to alleviate and eliminate the amount of pulling dogs dish out on walks. The side ring technology is what makes this work in addition to the distribution and structure of the fabric.

  • Has this harness been tested and approved by experienced dog trainers?

    Most definitely! You’ll even find videos of them talking about their Joyride Harness experience on our website.

  • Where are you located and based out of?

    HQ is based out of Los Angeles, California! All of our harnesses and other products are designed with love in California. Our warehouse is located in Georgia and shipments go out the next business day.

  • My dog is a houdini and escapes from everything. Will this work and keep them from escaping?

    Every Houdini finds their end and the escapes stop here! These are great for dogs that tend to get out of their harness. You see, dogs are able to escape harnesses due to lack of adjustability for the perfect fit. Even a slight discrepancy in how the harness fits may allow your furbaby to find a way to get out of it. We recommend a slightly snug fit (but not too tight) and your dog won’t be able to back out or escape from it! Need a little assistance in using the harness?   • Can I use these harnesses for my cat?

    We are pro-cat and have customers who have used our harnesses for their cats with no issues, but we do want to remind you…cats are made of liquid so there’s risk with any harness unless it’s the perfect fit. Keep that in mind while you shop!

  • Do I still use this harness once my dog stops pulling?

    Of course! Once the harness has trained your dog to walk beside you, you can start using the main D-ring on the back-center of the harness. You can use the side ring for accessories or leave it be! Up to you.

  • Can I exchange it if it doesn’t fit?

    You most certainly can! Exchanges and returns, however, must occur within 60 days of receiving the product or else the request won’t be honored. You can start the exchange process at this page: https://joyrideharness.loopreturns.com/

  • Do I have to pay an additional fee for shipping on the exchange or return?

    There is no additional shipping fee on exchanges. Exchanges are free for any item of equal or lesser value. Returns sent back for a refund are subject to a $6.95 flat fee to cover the charge of the prepaid label to get that item back to us. This Return Shipping Fee is deducted from your total refund. (U.S. Customers Only)

    Refunds can only be made to the original payment method as our system does not allow refunds to be processed to other payment methods nor can we provide checks. If refunds cannot be made to the original payment method, agents are on standby to provide credit in the applicable amount.

  • Do exchanges and returns need to occur within 60 days from receiving it?

    Yes, they do! Please make sure your harness is the one you need and the right fit for your dog as soon as you receive it.

  • My harness/product proved to be defective but we’re now outside the 60 day window. What do I do?

    You’re the exception to the rule. Our promise is the harness is the last you’ll have to buy with us, so if you run into issues, please contact us immediately! You won’t need to send back the harness, but please send pictures to speed the process for a replacement.

  • How long will it take for my refund to hit?

    Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to reflect on your bank statement once they are processed. Refunds will be put back towards the card billed.

  • What is your refund policy?

    Returns for refunds must be made within 60 days of receiving your order. $6.95 from the order amount will be used towards the prepaid shipping label to get that item back to us. Please note that refunds can only be made to the original payment method as our system does not allow refunds to be processed to other payment methods nor can we provide checks. If refunds cannot be made to the original payment method, agents are on standby to provide credit in the applicable amount.

  • What returns are not accepted?

    While we encourage trying the harness out, please make sure the original hangtag is still attached and the item is clean and free of any dog hair. Only items in "Like New" condition will be accepted. Please check the inside of the harness as well as the inside of the Velcro strap. Please also note that harnesses that have been chewed or damaged by our customers' beloved fur babies are no longer eligible for a return or exchange.

    This also applies to items that have been cut or damaged during unpackaging. Your order will arrive in a tear-resistant poly mailer, but please use caution and DO NOT OPEN WITH SHARP OBJECT. We cannot accept these items for return or exchange.

  • Can Final Sale and customized items be returned or exchanged?

    Joyride Harness products marked as "Final Sale" items and products that are customizable are not eligible for returns and free exchanges. They are, however, covered by our 365 day warranty should they need to be replaced.

  • What is Happy Returns?

    We have partnered with Happy Returns to offer printer-free, package-free, and sustainable returns and exchanges. Simply start your return via our online portal and opt to drop off your return at a Happy Returns location!

    Each cardboard-free return reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 0.12 lbs per item returned.

  • What if I can’t find my Happy Returns QR code?

    Happy Returns will email you a QR code to show at your local Return Bar. Without a QR code, they will not be able to accept your return, so please be sure to initiate the return online and get a QR code before heading to a Return Bar.

    You will have received your QR code in an email. If you cannot locate this email, please contact our support team at help@joyrideharness.com

  • Can I go to any Happy Returns location?

    Yes, you can go to any Happy Returns location. Locations can be found here: https://locations.happyreturns.com/

  • If I choose Happy Returns, when will I receive my refund or exchange?

    Your refund or exchange will be processed within 24 hours after dropoff at a Return Bar.

  • What’s the difference between processing and shipping time?

    Processing is the time taken to receive, review, and prep your order to be shipped. Shipping time comes into play after your order has been processed.

  • How long are delivery times?

    Delivery will typically happen within 2-4 business days of an order being dispatched (1-3 business days for Expedited Shipping). Exact timeframe depends on your location. Our warehouse is located in Georgia. *This is in addition to the 1-2 business days in processing.

  • Do you offer expedited shipping?

    We do! Please select "Upgrade to Insured + Expedited Shipping" as your shipping method at checkout. Instead of our typical 2-5 business days for delivery, this upgrades your shipping method to 1-3 business days.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Due to the current shipping climate, Joyride Harness is currently only shipping domestically within the United States. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    For our Canadian customers, please be sure to visit ourAmazon Store Canada to shop a select number of our harnesses in the meantime!

  • How long will it take my order to ship out?

    Orders take 1-2 business days to process. This is the time taken to receive, review, and prep your order. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information once your order wraps up processing.

  • How do you ship your products?

    We currently ship using DHL Expedited (2-5 days) or DHL Expedited Max (1-3 days) depending on which option you choose at checkout. USPS does make final delivery, so this means you can have it shipped to a P.O. Box, otherwise; packages will arrive straight to your mailbox.

  • Where does the harness ship from?

    While HQ is based out of SUNNY Los Angeles, CA, our orders are dispatched from our fulfilment center located in Savannah, GA.

  • Can you ship to a PO Box?

    Yes! Because USPS makes final delivery of our packages, P.O. Boxes are honored.

  • Will this work for my toy chihuahua?

    Yes, granted your toy chihuahua is at least 5 lbs as our smallest size is best fit for dogs at least 5 lbs

  • My dog is HUGE. We’re talking like 130 lbs. Will this fit them?

    We accommodate dogs up to 140 lbs! It’s all good. :) We’ve got Huskies, Goldies, Shepherds…. The works! It’ll fit.

  • My dog has a big wide chest. Would this be good for them?

  • How do I determine which size is best for my dog?

    Our size chart is located on this page, but we recommend checking out this blog post that details how to pick the right harness for your dog!

  • What is Klarna?

    Klarna is a payment plan service that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments (this has no impact on your credit). Your first payment is taken when the order is processed and the remaining 3 are automatically taken every two weeks. Be sure to choose Buy now, pay later with Klarna as your payment method at checkout!

  • Am I eligible for Klarna?

    Residents of the United States or its territories that are ages 18 years and over are eligible to use Klarna. To view Klarna’s full Terms of Agreement, please visit THIS LINK.

  • What if I can't make a payment?

    Klarna charges no interest and no fees unless you fail to make a payment. If any payment is unsuccessful, Klarna will try one more time to collect it. If it can't be collected a second time or after 10 days, a late fee will be added to your next installment.

  • When will my order ship if I use Klarna?

    There's no added wait time! Your order will process and ship as normal following our standard processing/shipping window.

  • What if I want to cancel my order?

    Cancellation requests are not accepted for Klarna payments and orders. However, our standard return policy still applies. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for further assistance regarding any return or exchange of an item.

  • What is Shop Pay?

    Shop Pay is a payment service that allows you to pay now or pay later. Choosing installments with Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments (checking eligibility has no impact to credit). Payments will be split equally and automatically taken every two weeks.

    Be sure to choose Shop Pay (Pay in full or in installments) as your payment method at checkout!

  • Are there late fees?

    There are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.

  • Am I eligible to use Shop Pay Installments?

    To use Shop Pay Installments, you need to have a United States billing and shipping address.

  • When will my order ship if I use Shop Pay?

    There's no added wait time! Your order will process and ship as normal following our standard processing/shipping window.

  • What if I request a return or refund?

    If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

    If your refund is more than your purchase balance, the difference will be returned to your original payment method within 3–10 business days.
