I’ll be honest.
Walking with my dog has been the most difficult part of my day ever since she grew overnight. You know that feeling, seeing your pup go from baby to Iron Giant in the blink of an eye?
Walks got harder to manage.
I’m telling you, collars only did it for us for the first 5 months…and then? She got powerful.
Stiff muscles every day from pulling against the leash my dog was yanking at. The pulling got relentless. My dog looked like she was choking herself. It was not pleasant for either of us!
So we go home one day and I think there has to be a better way. Everyone else got it figured out.
I opened my phone and did some light searching but things were either coming from overseas, not available in my dog’s size, or downright difficult to figure out. Some of the walking harnesses I Googled? They looked like equipment for Cirque du Soleil.
I wanted a harness that would be a walk in the park.
A walk in the dog park.
I guess Big Brother was listening because I started getting these posts on Facebook and TikTok for the dog harness that would change everything for me and my dog.
It’s called a Joyride Harness.
This harness is IT! Seriously. There’s no extra fluff about it.
I ordered it, it showed up within days, I put it on my dog and adjusted it. Bam! Now all I do is clip it and unclip it when we’re ready for walks. It’s so simple. But that’s not the best part about it. That’s just a BONUS.
The best part about the Joyride Harness is that it changed my dog’s walking attitude. Instead of treating our walks like a battle for the fittest, she gets excited when I pull out the harness and hardly pull anymore.
The difference was so noticeable. It’s no wonder why they call this is the best dog harness on the market.
What are the benefits to this harness?
- The harness is made from durable, quality materials
- Making it machine-wash safe!
- There’s no pressure around the dog's neck, minimizing the risks of tracheal collapse

- Works great with 2-in-1 Leash & Seatbelt Combo for car rides
- Three rings for different leash and seatbelt attachment points
- Can still be worn with a dog collar
- Lightweight but with plenty of padding
- Breathable mesh for long walks
- Reflective straps and stitching for night visibility

These are some of my favorite reviews that capture the same experience I had.
“The Joyride Harness is stunning! Not only is it durable and clearly well made, but it’s also incredibly user-friendly! Our Lab/Hound mix puppy would cower whenever we would have to put her old harness on her - as it was such a hassle to get over her head. With her new Joyride - she loves it and it takes half a second to place over her head! Not to mention - a total game-changer when it comes to mitigating her pulling! You have a customer for life! … perfect w/ a growing puppy!” - Kelly E.
“From the very first time we walked our boy using the Joyride Harness, our walks have been radically changed for the better! He used to pull a lot when we walked him, but no more! Truly amazing!! We love the Joyride Harness and so appreciate the ease of putting it on and taking it off. We purchased according to the size chart for our Aussie and the L fits perfectly. Thank you!!” - Theresa P.
Getting the most efficient walking experience with Joyride Harness is all in the fit!
How To Get The Right Fit
You can use our "By Weight" size chart or you can use our "By Girth" size chart. When you receive your harness in the mail, the first thing you'll do is put it on your dog, buckling one strap behind their front legs (under their chest) and using the velcro strap across the front of the dog's chest. You'll then turn your focus to the adjustment straps. The durable mesh design of the harness allows you to tighten the straps at the adjustable points to mold to a perfect fit of your dog.
In the case that you got the wrong size harness for your Chow, exchanges are FREE (for U.S./domestic only). You can find more information on exchanges at this link.
This dog harness is perfect for all sorts of dogs: rescue dogs, agility dogs, guide dogs, watchdogs, dogs that might run after a squirrel and you need a handle to hold them back. The design of the dog harness relies on a proper fit or barely snug fit to ensure the dog's comfort and restrict them from making a great escape.
