Changing Lives One Harness at a Time: Joyride’s 2024 Paw It Forward Report
Can you believe it’s been five years since we started our Paw It Forward program? Our mission has always been simple: to help non-profit organizations and shelters across the country that are dedicated to making life better for dogs.
With your help, we’ve been able to donate harnesses to amazing organizations that share our passion for pups. Let’s take a look at what we’ve done together!
What Is Paw It Forward All About?
Through Paw It Forward, we team up with shelters and rescue groups to make sure dogs in need get the harnesses they deserve. Here’s how it works:
- We Listen to What Shelters Need: When a shelter reaches out, they let us know the sizes and styles of harnesses they’re short on. We take that info and put together a special shipment just for them.
- We Rehome Returned Harnesses: Sometimes, harnesses that get returned to our warehouse in Georgia can’t be resold as NEW. Instead of letting them sit around, we clean them up and donate them to local shelters. (Paws crossed, we’ll be able to expand this to other states soon!)
- We Donate Proceeds: Part of every purchase you make goes to dogs in need. So every time you shop, you’re helping dogs!
What We Accomplished in 2023–2024
Over the last two years, from January 2023 through November 2024, Paw It Forward has been on a mission to make a difference for dogs in need. Here’s how we’ve put your support to work:
- Harnesses Donated: 1,499 harnesses sent to shelters and rescues.
- Funds Raised: $46,629.08 donated, thanks to every order you placed.
