I purchased one of these years ago from PugHarness. The clasp broke after years of use. I tried to buy another one and quickly realized they are now under new ownership. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Same great harness and quality. This is the best harness out there. It’s very comfortable for my dog. And it’s super easy to put on and take off. Buy it. I really like the design and it held up but I did notice it pulling up towards the neck and I find had to hold on to the handle in order to control him. Jax is 11 months old and he usually walks nice but when another dog is around he goes crazy and pulls. I noticed that the harness did hold up but I have to wonder if it was because I was holding on to the handle. I had another one something like this and my dog broke through that while my sister was walking him.

Have tried several different harnesses over the years for my dogs and they always seem to be a struggle. We often see the vets office and the folks at doggy day camp struggle with the harnesses as well. This one is a breeze to fit to your dog and it’s super easy to take on and off. We purchased for our Labrador retriever puppy before we brought her home and introduced her to the harness before she was 9 weeks old. She didn’t struggle at all the first time we put it on her and continues to wear it without any resistance. Have already purchased two more sizes for her, as lab puppies grow pretty quickly in the first several months of their life. Incredibly easy to hook the leash on two and several of our friends have already asked us where we purchased the harness. Also I must have if you are going to use doggy seatbelts in your car. Highly recommend!

I have a beagle that pulls and a harness that hooks up in front gives me more control. I misjudged the size. Should have gotten a medium. However my sons family got a labradoodle puppy, growing fast so I gave it to him to use on the new ((bigger) puppy. It’s a great fit and solid materials. Adjustable. Worked out well and I didn’t have to return such a great product. And the family loves it.

The interesting thing for me about this harness was I bought 2, one in green plaid and one in a fall plaid for my 14 month 59 pound Borzoi. I moved the green to a smaller fit and moved the fall colors to a large fit to see how my big male greyhound would do. He is 95 pounds and it fit fine. That is an impressive range.
For my old hound I like the middle ring as I can help him get up. The side ring works well with my Borzoi teenage as we practice loose leash walking.
It is easy in and easy off as well.

It was difficult putting on other harnesses when they were jumping around (the dogs not the harnesses) but the Pug Life is so easy.
Also it feels very safe even when they pull backwards.

This is the best harness we’ve found for our little guy. He uses the XS, since he weighs only 9 lbs. It fits securely and he doesn’t even try to wriggle out of it. And, it’s easy to put on him. My only problem with it, is that the strap that goes under his chest snaps closed right behind his armpit, and the buckle is quite large. My suggestion would be to use a smaller size buckle on the XS harness

I have relocated the right side ring to make it lower. This helps Kandy to respond to the lease more quickly when in heel command. Her training lease had a ring under her neck which prevented her from lowering her head on the leash. I wish this harness could be adapted likewise. Otherwise I am very happy with the harness and leash.

I was looking for a harness that fit well, and was easy to put on my pup. After looking at the size guide, he fell right between 2 sizes (L and XL), so I called the company. They sent me a chest girth guide as well, and suggested that I buy the large one.
I ordered 2 of them; when I opened the box, I was surprised how nice they were. They were constructed very well, and had 3 very large metal rings, to hook the leash to. My dog is still a puppy, and gets real excited when we walk or run. I've tried all 3 rings, to see which helped control him better. there is also a very large buckle; most harnesses have the tiny little buckle, which ends up breaking. There is also a handle, for when you really need to control your pup.
There is some room for adjusting the size, which makes it even better. IT IS SO EASY TO USE!
My wife and I both really like this harness, and so does Brock.
By the way, not only is their product great, so is their customer service. I highly recommend the JoyRide harness.

He’s in between 60-61lbs so I ordered the XL. Had to size it all the way down around the bottom but the chest fits perfectly! I was expecting to do some leash training with this harness since he’s strong and pulls. The second we got the harness on and outside the pulling didn’t exists! I enjoy the side ring options. This harness is great and I got the black as well as green plaid.

I’ve only had it for a week. Seems like a well made harness. Fits well. I’ve tried the side rings on a couple of walks and I’m not sure yet they are good tools to stop pulling. I’ll keep the training going and we’ll see. My Golden Retriever seems to not pull as hard as she did with her old harness.

I really like this harness BUT am disappointed in the large buckle. . Without much effort, my dog pops it apart. . I am thinking about sending it back for a replacement buckle, but I bought another one to see if the same thing happened and the new one popped today. . .

This is our favorite harness! So far it hasn't loosened over time. It's also easy to put on. We have tried a lot of harnesses, as our dog pulls HARD when he sees rabbits or other dogs to play with. Milo (pictured) is a 74 pound Goldendoodle. I accidentally ordered our second harness in orange and easily exchanged it for the red one I meant to order.

Too big. For 8.1 lb 4 yr old dog, body type like Italian Grayhound. Underbelly adjustment taken in all the way. Neck/front strap, thru ring, fold at end of reflective tape, was lose. For best fit I would have pull 1” of the reflective, thru the loop and fold it over.

Rio is an Havanese about a year old. His harness is a small. It is a little big but adjusted to fit him. There is growth room to. His is getting used to the new harness and it means WALK time.

This harness (I bought two), takes the strength of a horse, to unbuckle. The other one, doesn’t have that issue. (That one just rattles when my dog walks)....Other than that, it fits nicely.

I saw this harness advertised on Facebook and was a little worried it would not be as good as it seems. Then I ran into a beautiful poodle wearing one in a local taproom it looked like it fit her like a dream. After speaking with her human i found out they LOVED this harness. I have a small pup. At first, I thought the harness would be too heavy for her. Once she wore it, I noticed how secure it fit and the feeling of pulling her while walking was gone. It is well made and balanced which makes it easier to guide my pup on walks. This is the best harness my pup has ever worn. I am a fan.

We bought this harness for our pound puppy who looks like a really tall Chihuahua, and it fits him great. Quality is excellent, made of very great materials. We got a second one for our mini Dachshund, and it does not fit at all, no matter how we tweak the fit - the front strap is just too wide and hits her knees. So we will rehome that one, but for anything but a mini Dachshund, I think this is a great harness, and we've owned quite a few!

The harness is great however the customer service aspect kind of lacked. As soon as I ordered it I realized I entered the wrong zip and emailed the only email provided to correct it. They didn't which delayed delivery. Other than that the harness is great....I would recommend it.

I bought 3 harness at the same time, and they all fit well are easy to adjust. The only problem I had was that I ordered a Blue harness and got a Black one. I really don't have the time to go into returning it and getting a different color but thought you may want to know you can make some corrections to your shipping department.

Works well enough with our 55 lb mixed breed dog but also with the thirteen chimpanzees which we allow to freely roam in our house, only using this harness when we take them all out for a walk in public places. Yes, it can be alarming for some, but the harnesses work well whenever we come in sight of a "jungle gym" or an occasional banana tree. That's when all hell breaks loose and the harnesses are pushed to their limits! Since all of our leashes are steel reinforced, wondering if it is it possible to have the pug harnesses manufactured in the same manner? Not to worry, everything is working fine now but next year we plan to "upgrade" these chimpanzees to a local zoo and replace them with gorillas in honor of Jane Goodall. Wish us luck!

Love that it is a comfortable fit for the dog, though she has been able to slip out of the harness when she wants to be stubborn. The under strap tends to slip and not stay snug, I have taken to sewing so that it will not slip but can be undone if needs be.

I like it for my little dog, but for my daughter's dogs, I do not think the velcro on the chest would be enough to hold them. They are pitties and are very strong. Need an adjustable on the chest.

I bought this harness to keep for dogs I foster. I foster for a local pitbull rescue and these dogs are powerful. The dog pictured is my most recent foster, Louie. He walks beautifully with the harness. It only took him two walks to understand how to slide in and patiently wait for the buckle to click. The handle has been a great training tool. And I got it in my favorite color! Harnesses are always suggested when we do our dog trainings as well. I look forward to demonstrating with this one!

Well, our fur baby is a Rat Terrier and has a distinct body shape. In the past we were able to find one harness out of many that did fit well and we purchased two (just in case). Well, that company no longer makes this particular style and one of her harnesses is in really bad shape, the other we will save for beach outings as it is lightweight and won't matter if salt water and sand get on it, we'll just wash it. BUT, WE LOVE our new PUG Harnesses (bought two because you were offering a buy 1/get @50% off). She is older (16 years) and had gotten used to stepping into her harness, so there has been a small adjustment and the clicking noise made when you snap it on scared her at first, but we are working on that. But, the quality of this harness is fantastic! We bought it due to word of mouth. It is well crafted and would say that these will certainly be the last harnesses we will need to purchase. I bought this for my son’s 7 mth old English Shepherd pup. Previously, taking Tucker for a walk was quite the challenge as he lunged ahead following his nose and pulling on the leash. He would cough and gag from the strain of the collar. My mom, an Australian Shepherd owner, recommended this harness. She said that her boy loves his! Taking Tucker for a walk is a complete JOY now! Not sure if it’s a total credit to the harness or perhaps partly due to his breed, or maybe the two just make a magical combination, but Tucker is a different dog on a walk now. I feel like I’ve got a service dog as he effortlessly walks by my side! I just know that his upcoming obedience classes will be more effective as well! Four paws up for this wonderful device!

Puppy is 50 pounds and we’ve been through two harnesses already. This one fits great and is easy to put on and take off, larger and more substantial than the other harnesses. The offset rings will help him learn not to pull. Love it.

We purchased the harnesses for our 2 boxers, DeSoul and Moose. DeSoul is 10 and Moose just turned 1. We were hopeful that the harnesses would help minimize the "pulling" when we take them for walks...Boxers are a bit obstinate and full of energy.
We were VERY pleased how well the boys behaved with the harnesses! The harnesses are well constructed, easy to adjust and are super easy to put on and take off the dogs.

I was glad to see that Pug Life has tried to improve the durability of the clasp on the new harness I just purchased. It appears to be thicker and heavier plastic than the model I have been using. I hope this new clasp lasts longer than the previous two I had purchased. Otherwise, the build quality of the harness seems to be as good as the old harness. Thank you.
